I woke up this morning expecting howling wind and pouring rain but it was calm with just a light drizzle. I went to weather.com and found out why. We are now in the eye of the storm. They predicted it would be a tropical depression but it is still a tropical storm (higher wind speeds.) It looks like it will go back in the gulf to the south of us. The back half of the storm is coming and should be rainy and windy for the next two days. I have now officially been hit directly by a tropical storm. So far no damage and think it will be just one wet mess for awhile. Tropical Storm Fay will just not go away. All of Florida has been directly hit by her now.

In the Eye of the Storm
I woke up this morning expecting howling wind and pouring rain but it was calm with just a light drizzle. I went to weather.com and found out why. We are now in the eye of the storm. They predicted it would be a tropical depression but it is still a tropical storm (higher wind speeds.) It looks like it will go back in the gulf to the south of us.
