Our first major stop on our road trip was Colorado Springs, Co. We stayed on the base. The housing was excellent. It was nice to have a washer and dryer to do our laundry. Also the two bedrooms were nice. It was like a small two bedroom house. It was huge compared to most of the hotel rooms we stayed in.
The night we got in to Colorado Springs we went to see the Garden of Gods. I wished I had known to put on better shoes for the kids and I. It would have been fun to do a little more climbing.
I got some great shots even though my camera somehow developed a black spot I couldn’t get rid of. I eventually got it blown off the lens but my camera still needs a serious cleaning.
