Clock

At bedtime we told my daughter it was time to go to bed. She said something that sounded like "cawk" and started pointing up, looking up and saying "Tk" "Tk" "Tk" moving her little finger while she did. My husband and I looked around to see what she was pointing at and we couldn't figure it out. Her daddy took her into her bedroom and when I came in he said, "Clock. Did you teach her that?" Now she was in her bedroom she was pointing to the clock on her bedroom wall and she said "clock." Then pointing and moving her finger as she said it she said, "Tick" Tick" "Tick." Neither of us knew she knew the name for the clock. We were very excited because she is just now showing how much she really has picked up. She has always been quiet and reserved and we started to worry that she was falling behind but now she is surprising us almost daily with new things that she knows.
