I made my apple pie for the pie baking contest. I didn't win or even place but there were a lot of good pies there. My crust (homemade) didn't have the best flavor like it usually does. The young woman that usually babysits for us won first prize for her blackberry pie.
There was ponies to ride and a cart that was pulled by miniature horses. The kids liked the ponies and horses but wouldn't ride the ponies. However, they screamed when their turn was up in the cart. They had lots of turns riding with mommy, daddy, and grandma.
T-man really enjoyed the watermelon. He ate this piece down to the white and ate half of another piece. We had a blast even if it was over 100 degrees and that wasn't counting the humidity factor.
